My Reflection

I found Place Value Strategy easy because you just need to split the number into tens and ones and when you finish split the numbers you gonna write them in brackets times them and then add the sums.

I found Compensation Strategy tricky because you need to subtract and add.

 
My next step is to do more and practice more on my Compensation Strategy and my speaking loudly clearly and write the numbers small because it need fantastic recording.

My Reflection

I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.
A persuasive speech needs to have an introduction, a point of view, 3 reasons to backup.
I found this tricky because it take a long time to write the speech.

That was the holidays

Have you ever smelled the school holidays?
Sure you have.  

Remember that time you went swimming in the swimming pool?
The water was so freezing cold that you couldn't get out and into the warm spa pool.
Warm water bubbling ,feeling nice and relaxed.
That was the holidays.

Remember that time you ate ice cream at the park?
The frozen ice cream was dripping sticky cream all over the ground.
Having fun with you mum and dad.
That was the holidays.

BBQ food is delicious and golden brown.
Your stomuch rumbled you coudn't wait to eat!

My Reflection 

I have been learning to write a poem using descriptive language.
We used the poem "That was Summer" by Marci Ridlon as inspiration.
I found this tricky because it takes a long time to write the poem.If you writing a poem using desriptive language you need use 5 senses which is see, smell, hear, touch and taste
My next step is to write more interesting.
