Comparing Characters

My Reflection

I have been learning to describe the characters in the story. We read Who 's a Big Bully Then by Micheal Morpurgo. I found this easy because the author already put describing words in the story. My next step is to do more hard comparing.

Term 1 Week 8

One the weekend, my sister, my mum and me went to the Gala. My favorite thing at the Gala is the big tall bouncy slide, nail polishing, car smashing, the hot dogs and the Kapa Haka. I like the Gala, it was fun.

Term 1 Week 8 100 Word Challenge

                                                                                       ...suddenly I saw...

One night, I was sleeping in my bed, the storm went and the wind blows, suddenly I saw a monster walking on the road, I was scared I want get out of here but I could't, then I hind under the blanket. After a minute I held up the blanket a little bit I saw the monster 's giant hand is really close to the window, I think the monster is going to eat me and then the monster 's giant hand just got me and the monster went "roooooooooooooooooooooar" into my ears. After that the monster gobled me and I can't get out - Will  I get out?

Term 1 Week 7

This week I enjoyed Digikids. We have learnt coding Angry birds games. There is 20 levels I am up to level 13. Katie is up to level 15 and Tanzee is up to 15 too. It was fun.

My Reflection

This is a box about a code that from 1 to 100. I first find this difficult because I don't how to do and then I felt easy because I find the 100 and then I find a pattern in the I knew it then I just finished it.

My next step is to do more harder works like these coding ones.

My Place Value Reflection

I was learning to read numbers up to hundred thousand and to say which is bigger or smaller.The thing that helped me most was using my basic facts to help with bigger numbers.

My next step is to try the same activity using bigger numbers.

Term 1 Week 6

This week I enjoyed Pepeha Art. How to do a Pepeha Art  Step 1: Get a A3 paper and cut it in to a square. Step 2: Use a ruler to rule the square into quarters. Step 3 : Draw your mountain in one triangle, in another triangle you draw your river, in the next triangle draw you house and in the last square draw anything your like. Step 4 : Vivid all the things that you draw. Step 5 : Colour the picture in. Step 6 : Write your pepeha on the computer and print it out and paste it on the picture. The last step is to take a photo and paste it on to it.  Then your are done!

This is my Pepeha Art and my Pepeha Slideshow. I have take 1 week and a half to do it. A Pepeha is a way of introduce your culture, home and family. 

Term 1 Week 5

This week I enjoyed blue whale challenge. We were learning about blue whale, we have been reading a book called The blue whale and it tells me about the blue whale and what they do. And I have learnt some new wow words and some smiles. It was interesting.
